Mission Statement
The Philadelphia Classical Guitar
Society is a community of members of
all ages and accomplishments dedicated to supporting and encouraging
classical guitar activities throughout the Delaware Valley. The
society present concerts, typically
on the 2nd
Sunday of the month as well as informal Guitar
Salons & a Classical Guitar Orchestra providing members of all
levels performance opportunities.

Governance and Volunteers
The
Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society is a membership driven
organization and is governed by a volunteer board of
directors, volunteer staff and the votes of the membership.
Current volunteer staff openings include:

Marketing and
Advertising, Guitar Salon Coordinator, and Director of
Fundraising.
Beyond these administrative positions, volunteers (of all
ages) are always welcome to fill a wide variety of positions
including :

Ticket sales at concerts,

Guitar Festival Director, Student recital coordinators (at April
Festival),
Director of volunteers, E-newsletter editor and more!
